Treatments - Thread Vein Treatment

The treatment for leg thread veins is a simple yet effective procedure for clients. While thread veins are not a health hazard they do have a significant impact on the confidence of many people. It is a safe treatment that significantly reduces the presence of thread veins while improving the cosmetic appearance of your legs. The treatment we provide is sclerotherapy. Sclerotherapy involves injecting the sclerosing agent into the small capillary via a small needle. This irritates the capillary walls causing closure of the vein. Several treatments maybe required. A session lasts approximately 30mins. Once the veins have been success fully treated they will not reappear, however it cannot prevent the development of new veins in other areas. After treatment you may notice small brown pigmented areas resembling a freckle. These will resolve over time. It is important to wear support stockings for 7 days post treatment to facilitate the closure of the vein.
